1. Body Appreciation Practice * Start each day with a body appreciation practice. This could be saying or writing down three things you appreciate about your body, focusing on its function and resilience rather than appearance.

2. Mindful Movement * Tune into your body’s needs for movement each day. Rather than focusing on calorie burn or appearance goals, ask yourself: "What type of movement feels good for my body today?" This could be stretching, dancing, walking, or strength training. The goal is to move in a way that feels nurturing.

3. Gentle Nutrition Check-In * Reflect on how your food choices make you feel rather than restricting or labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” Focus on adding foods that energize you and make you feel good. You could ask: “How do I want to feel after my meals today?” and plan nourishing, balanced options accordingly.

4. Positive Body Image Journaling * Keep a journal specifically for body image reflections. Write about any challenges with body image, then counter those thoughts with neutral or positive statements.

5. Gratitude Practice for the Self * Take a few moments each evening to jot down a small gratitude note about yourself. Recognize personal qualities, actions, or moments you feel proud of.

6. Set a Daily Affirmation * Create daily affirmations that resonate with self-compassion and acceptance. Examples include “I am learning to embrace my body’s wisdom,” or “I am kind to myself as I go through changes.”

7. Emotional Check-In with Breathing * Menopause can bring emotional highs and lows. Take a few moments to check in with your emotions, doing a breathing exercise to ground yourself if needed.

8. Intuitive Rest and Recovery * Menopause often brings changes in energy levels. Check in with your body to see if you need extra rest or a slower pace.

9. Mindful Media Consumption * Set boundaries around social media and other content that may impact your self-esteem or body image. Regularly unfollow accounts that make you feel pressured or negative about yourself.

10. Self-Compassion Reflection * When faced with body image struggles, ask yourself: “What would I say to a friend in this situation?” Then, extend that same compassion and understanding to yourself.
